Lord our God –
In response to all that You give us, may we offer You the first of the fruit of our ground.
In response to the fulfillment of Your promises, may we remember how Your story and our story weaves together.
Wandering ancestors treated harshly and living with affliction, toil, and oppression. A Divinity who hears, sees, outstretches their arms and brings us out of Egypt with power, signs, and wonders.
Continue to bring us into the land flowing with milk and honey. For You have done it, are doing it, and will do it.
As we set down our first fruit before You, may we bow down before You, and together with all people, celebrate with the bounty You have given us.
Amen.
