Servant of the Lord -
May the coastlands and peoples from far away listen and pay attention to You.
Called before birth and named in your mother’s womb, the Lord made your mouth like a sharp sword and made you like a polished arrow.
May Your words and presence pierce us today.
Formed in the womb to be the servant who brings Jacob back to the Lord and gathers Israel to the Lord, God strengthened you and expanded your call. You became a light to the nations, and Your salvation reached to the end of the earth.
May we stand up and prostrate ourselves because our faithful Lord, the Holy One of Israel, chose You.
In the name of our Servant Redeemer, we pray.
Amen.
